Four wimpy (bike-less) riders showed up at Red Rooster Cafe New Year's Day to encourage the riders who wished to brave the icy, snowy roads. For some reason no riders actually showed up! The coffee and food were just fantastic! I guess this does not count as another consecutive year for this ride. I'm not certain, but it may be thirty years now. Does anyone know? Maybe Bob Sossa since the ride started at Sossa's Deli (the Verde Lea Market now.) How about Doug Braly (Mingus Mtn Bike?) Randy Victory? What ever... Happy New Year - Enjoy your bike travels this year!
